Financial profile
Eureko seeks to, in managing its capital and liquidity, balance the interest of all stakeholders. In particular the interests of those with a long-term financial interest in the Group, such as policyholders, providers of senior and subordinated debt and (preference) shareholders. Eureko aims to maintain financial strength; to honour the long-term commitments to the policyholders; to support the growth of the core insurance and insurance-related business; to satisfy the requirements of regulators and rating agencies and to enhance the returns to the shareholders through the deployment of prudent levels of capital.
Eureko has a number of sources of capital and liquidity: ordinary and preference share capital, hybrid capital securities, internal dividend, and external and internal borrowings. In managing its capital resources Eureko takes into account internally developed economic capital (ECAP) models, regulatory requirements and rating agencies requirements. In terms of rating targets, Eureko considers a counterparty credit rating in the A category for the holding entities to be consistent with these objectives.
To maintain an open dialogue with the financial community, the Eureko’s Investor Relations team is of course available to answer any additional question you might have.
