Eureko (Romania)
The Eureko Group has a 100 percent stake in operating company Eureko in Romania. The company employs about 600 staff, including the Euroclinic Hospital and Medical Centers.
Eureko is recognized as a pioneer in Romania’s health segment and is one of the few insurers offering a full range of products in life, health and pensions business lines.
Euroclinic Hospital and Medical Centers
Eureko opened the first private hospital, the Euroclinic, in Bucharest in 2005. Three other clinics were opened in Bucharest in 2006 and 2009 under the Euroclinic Hospital and Medical Centers brand.
Along with the hospital and clinics in Bucharest, Eureko has developed a health services providers network covering the whole country. There are more than 250 private partner clinics operating in this continuously growing network.
Pensions
In 2007 Eureko Romania was one of the first players involved in Romanian pension system reform and successfully launched its initial product offerings later that year. Eureko has secured a significant market share in the 2nd Pillar market and at the end of 2008 decided to enter the 3rd Pillar market.
History
Eureko entered the Romanian market in 2001 by acquiring the Interamerican Group, which included the 1994 established company Interamerican Romania. At the beginning of 2009 Interamerican Romania went through a re-branding process and became Eureko. Read more about the Eureko group’s history.
